Kamishihoro (Hokkaido Prefecture) is a small village situated in the eastern area of Hokkaido island. Its quiet, natural surroundings and ancient history make it a welcoming spot, with various attractions and activities spread out across the area.
The diversity of the seasons gives rise to dramatic changes in scenery, providing special experiences throughout the year. The area is covered in rolling hills and lush green grass, bringing a sense of nostalgia for those who hanker for the North European countryside. The autumn leaves at the end of September and the beginning of October add splashes of orange, yellow and red to the beautiful views of the valleys, while the winter has a snowy wonderland feel.
