WAJIMA輪島市
The coastal town of Wajima, perched near the top of Ishikawa Prefecture’s Noto area, is a tough place to access, taking two hours by bus from Kanazawa, but the effort is well-rewarded. Wajima is nationally renowned for its historical lacquerware tradition, but also attracts visitors who come to enjoy the architecture, morning market, a foot spa and the seaside views.
