KAGAWA PREFECTURE

Set between mountains to the south, and the Seto Inland Sea to the north, Kagawa is a wonderful destination for a serene getaway, with pretty landscapes and a wide range of attractions for art buffs. The region is famous for its udon noodles - a must-try for visitors.
The prefecture is home to a number of islands of the Seto Inland Sea, including the relaxing retreats and art displays of Naoshima and Teshima. The coastal resort island of Shodoshima also has an art scene, with opportunities to enjoy outdoor installations from previous festivals.
