KONAN香南市
The town of Konan (Kochi Prefecture) encompasses several small villages (including Akaoka, Noichi and Yasu) containing a splendid mix of history, culture and nature.
The cluttered streets of Akaoka make for a pleasant stroll, and fans of Japanese art will be delighted with the opportunity to see up close the distinctive works of Ekin. The vast Actland complex in Noichi offers a family day out, with rides, games and museums that particularly focus on Kochi’s ubiquitous historical hero, Ryoma Sakamoto. Visitors to Yasu can relax, surrounded by the countryside and the ocean.
